50 days... not much at all; 50 days before now was (I think) the 16th March, which really doesn't seem as though it was  that long ago. The biggest news of today? I was in London from 11- 4:30 and, with the exception of buying a Frappucino from Starbucks (more about that later...) I didn't spend a penny! I am so proud of myself.

Admittedly I did spend from 12:15- 4 in the American Embassy/ queueing to get in, but you know... 1 and a quarter hours in London without spending money is ( Read more... )

So it turns out that I'm an idiot. I didn't read the requirements for American visa photos properly, assuming that regular British passport ones would do. But America likes to make everything complicated, and they have to be 2 x 2 inches, which means finding some machine/ photographer that will actually do that. What's really frustrating is that ( Read more... )
