Victoria's day wasn't going as planned. She thought her day was going to be pleasant, wonderful even though the moment she woke up bad luck struck. Her alarm clock didn't go off until she woke up thirty minutes before her class started. Apparently her clock couldn't tell the difference between AM and PM. The poor girl literally jumped out of

She was lucky she didn't drop it when she saw a familiar face. "Victoria?"

Laughing a little as she munched on the rest of the pizza, shaking her head. "Oh, no, this is way more boring. That would at least not require me to take notes." She made it sound as if notes were the enemy.
She had to think. "Not up to much. Stitch is my roommate, but I've been spending a lot of time at other dorms - friends and stuff - " She cut herself off mid-sentence, knowing she was blushing violently. But thinking of Myrtle made her flail a little. "No! Don't talk about her, she'll hear us and come!"

Victoria raised an eyebrow at her best friend. Oh? Other dorms? Boyfriend? Or...slaves? The thought wandered into her head before she started to laugh a little.
"I think for her to come we'd have to summon her like Bloody Mary." she teased, though in reality if Mrytle were here...she would also have her little posse around and Lord knows how long until either she or Lilo would throw water balloons at them.
"But back to the other dorms....exactly who's? Hmmm?"

"Well, we've already said her name once!" She flailed a little bit, shaking her head. "Then again, I doubt she'd notice. She'd convert a sorority to her brainless minions. ... like zombies!" She shook her head incredulously. "She'd take over the world. We don't need that."
She'd thought she'd gotten away with changing the subject, but when Victoria brought it back up, she laughed nervously. "Um, my boyfriend's."

Victoria grinned at the word boyfriend. "Ohhhh," she said, leaning in, her eyes sparkling with interest.
"So what's his name? What's he like? Height, weight, eye color, any tattoos like you? Does he have all his limbs and kidneys? Does he have a secret identity? Come on, I need the details," she teased. The last time she heard Lilo had a boyfriend the relationship didn't last long. Victoria wanted to make sure this guy was the real deal.

"His name is Max, he's a little taller than me, on the skinny side, brown, no tattoos, all limbs and kidneys and even a great cardiovascular system, no secret identity, and he's helping teach me how to skateboard." She shrugged and felt a bit sheepish.

The brunette grinned. She far she liked what she was hearing about this Max guy. "Nice. Wait, you sure he's not an axe murder?" It never hurt to cover all the bases. Especially when it came to guys.
"Oh! Which reminds me. You have Stitch here and I have Snotty! If you want we can have a sleep over at my apartment! Movie marathon?"
Reply
"Nope, not an axe murderer. He's really sweet, and we have a lot of the same movies and he likes Elvis. Not as much as me, but who does?" She was used to that, but it was nice that Max actually hummed along to some of the songs.
"Snotty? That's awesome, yes, we need to do that. I'll make the snacks!"

"I'll buy poker cards and chips for Snotty and Stitch. Didn't they play poker or goldfish last time?" It seems Stitch and his cousins were always playing one game or another when they got together. It was cute in a way. An idea soon struck Victoria's mind. It was a risky one though...
"If you want you can bring Max over too." Might as well meet the guy, though that would make her something of a third wheel. Though it would be a good time to see if he's right for Lilo.

Blinking and going wide-eyed at Victoria's idea, she shook her head. "Maybe next time, but we need our own time to catch up."
Reply
"Alright. So what else should I get? Chocolate? Gummy worms? Oh, you'll have to bring your records! We can play them as loud as we want!" Screw if it the neighbors banged on her door.
"Any preferences for movies?"
Reply
"Yes!" That was all of the above. "Hmm, movies. Old, bad sci-fi?"
Reply
"Classics? Awesome! We'll start with the black and white ones then move up to the eighties." Who didn't like watching horribly acted movies that had people in bad hair?
"Oh. How's your sister? I'm sorry again for getting her in trouble with my mom when I tried to run away..." Though it seemed like a good idea at the time. Running away to live with her best friend seemed so great compared to moving away from her. Though Victoria's mom soon found her daughter. It was never a good idea to shout 'I'M RUNNING AWAY TO LILO'S!!' to the world and not expect anyone to find you.

At the mention of Nani, Lilo's smile softened. "We all understood why you did what you did. I'd have done it too if I'd had to move." Of course, leaving Hawaii had hurt her all on its own, much less leaving her family. She'd felt badly for Victoria.

"Think I should've picked a better hiding spot than the kitchen cabinet?" she joked. It felt good to laugh about the old times...though she still did miss Hawaii. Nevada...was okay, but it wasn't the right place for her.

Thinking about good hiding spots in her childhood home, she shook her head. "I was always sorry I stopped fitting in the dryer."
