Stitch, who had been enjoying the sunshine in the quad, and who had deftly dodged the rabbit, his books, and his unicycle, applauded at the landing, making a sound very like an irate chipmunk.

On steroids.

Who'd been a lifelong smoker.

So not really the same thing at all, but at least it was an amused noise.

As soon as someone responded, Roger dropped headfirst out of the tree, landing in a pile of books. He sat up with one rather scrawny bird hobbling around his head. A monochrome bird. With a crutch. The rabbit looked at it with disappointment.

"Not even Technocolor. This is going to be harder than I thought."

Stitch cocked his head, one ear perking as he watched this process, puzzled and apparently intrigued, as he slid forward to poke at the bird in curiosity, "Huh."

That was, apparently, all he had to say on the matter before he introduced himself by way of pressing a hand to his chest, "Stitch." He pointed at Roger then, "Hn?"

Instantly, the rabbit hunched down, flattened back his ears, widened his mouth and narrowed his eyes in a close imitation of Stitch's appearance and an exact imitation of gis gestures. "Roger!" he pronounced, and bounced back to his normal self to offer Stitch a yellow gloved hand. "Nice to meet you!"
