It has been shown throughout history that no matter where or when you are, certain things in the universe remain constant. One of those things is Thespis' Law, which states that the trouble with actors is that most of them never actually learn the difference between being on stage and being off. This is probably even more true when it comes to acting students, which goes a long way towards explaining why anyone trying to navigate the quad around noon would find themselves having to dodge a wildly out-of-control toon rabbit on a unicycle trying to steer from behind a huge stack of books obscuring his vision almost completely.
Yes, the new arrival was intent on charging headfirst into his studies... and anything else that had the misfortune of being in his way. This turned out ultimately to be a pothole in the pavement... and then a garbage can on conveniently springy mounting, which sent the rabbit, the unicycle, and the books flying at various angles into a tree. He managed somehow to catch three of the books on his way down, so that when the dust cleared, what remained was a rabbit hanging upside-down from a tree branch by his overalls, balancing two books on his ears and paging through a third with an expression of deep concentration.
