011 - action (open to all)

[Mozenrath was in one of his rare 'pleased' moods. He had the blood of his mortal enemy, the Princess sufficiently ruined, and the pointless classes were still canceled.

There he sat in the very public Quad, in broad daylight, one legged crossed over the other as he casually munched on a pear. In his gauntlet covered hand was a new book, which he ( Read more... )

[She had originally planned on going outside to read a new book as well. But once she got her window open and caught the scent of the fresh air and the outside world, her interest in the book had waned. With an eager smile and encouragement from Pascal, Rapunzel looped her hair around the hook on her window and swung down into the quad with a joyous "WOOHOO~!!"]

[Oh. Gee. How. Cute.

Except not.

The sound made him skip over a line, which he then went back to read over again with meticulous care, even murmuring to himself out loud.]

... torture of the victims, which gradually mounts in intensity and ends in their slaughter. [he paused] Well that seems like a waste of a servant. Then again, they did have quite a few... hmm...

[See how good he is at ignoring you, Rapunzel? Soooo good.]

[Oh, those flowers under her favorite tree over there look beautiful! And so over there she will be running, all of that hair trailing loose behind her. Rapunzel's too excited over the feel of grass under her bare feet and the beautiful colors of the flowers to even notice Mozenrath, period. And then she looks up a bit, and--]

[OHMYGOSH WHAT KINDS OF FLOWERS ARE THOSE?! She's running in a different direction to gather up these new flowers that she's spotted. So of course she doesn't realize if her hair happens to whip against somebody who happens to be sitting in the way. Why would she?]

[The hair seemed to defy gravity, and it was also heavy enough to knock his book straight from his hand. He had a firm enough grip on his pear that it managed to survive, but it's not like he would want it after it was rubbed on by some idiot's hair.

So he dropped it, and instead used his free hands to latch onto the offending locks. He held them firm as he stared at the bounding girl, waiting for her to go far enough to feel the restraint.]

[While it was a nice day Aqua wasn't in the best of moods. She had received a star in a jar, one eerily similar to the one that was used when she was called to save Zexion. She thought he was in danger when in reality he was gone. He had gone back to Radiant Garden to look for someone.

Aqua didn't have the chance to say goodbye to yet another friend who left, making her semi-moody and unable to focus her mind.

She was in the quad as well, under the shade of a tree to concentrate on merging two spells into one. The two ice spells she had in her hands were slowly merging, but her mind was elsewhere. Just when she thought she was done the ice spells shot off in different directions. one heading for a bed of flowers and the other...well towards Xerxes.]

Look out! [Damnit! She had to stay focus!]

-- ! [Xerxes barely had time to bug out his eyes before he was struck with the magic. The 'poor' eel was frozen solid in mid-air, and his form dropped into the fountain below (thankfully not far enough to shatter).]

[He slowly lowered his book to cock an eyebrow at Xerxes, then his dark eyes slid over to the direction the magic came from. A slow smirk spread across his lips as he gazed at the unfamiliar looking girl (having forgotten that they met before, since it was too unimportant).

She had thrown some pretty impressive magic, despite how uncontrolled it was. Perhaps her emotional state was in disarray? Ah well, no mortal was perfect.]

Nice shot.

[Aqua felt incredibly angry and frustrated with herself. She should've known there were other people in the area! She got up from her seat to look over the...thing she hit.]

I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen. [Really, she didn't. She was trying to make a stronger spell! Not...make frozen fish sticks out of Xerxes.]

[Aladdin hadn't seen Mozenrath since his memories had been returned to him. The street rat had no desire to change that. When the voodoo spell had been lifted, his past had returned to him in a sudden torrent. A past that had made the present - the lies that Mozenrath had told him and that he'd had no choice but to believe - suddenly and sickeningly chilling.

He didn't know about the blood sample that had been stolen from him, but the idea of spending any time with that slimy excuse for a sorcerer was enough to turn his stomach.

Xerxes was the one that he spotted first, bothering the birds. His master was sitting a few metres away, reading a book that Aladdin had no desire to recognise.

Should he walk past or should be confront him? He would have liked to know what he'd been playing at when he'd lied to him earlier, but that was exactly what he had been doing. Playing. That was what Mozenrath was always doing.]

[It was impossible to ignore Aladdin even when his nose was buried in a book. He lowered it so he could give his rival a very wide smirk and a sardonic greeting.]

Hello, lover.

Oh, those are such good dreams aren't they? You should ask the Princess how hers are lately...
