[As the Academy started to dissolve into chaos on the evening of the voodoo festival, one member of staff was conspicuous in her absence

[Sadly, between the shocks of being awake during the day and finding Elisa in stone sleep as a gargoyle, Goliath did not think to leave her a message. Perhaps he thought that his stone sleep had been revoked entirely, and wasn't expecting to go to sleep at night like a normal person, which might be why if Elisa goes up to the roof of her office, she'll find him in stone sleep, looking pensive instead of customarily ferocious.
[As soon as she'd recovered from her shock and pulled herself together, Elisa formulated a plan of action. She needed to find Lilo and find out exactly how her harmless game had managed to go so wrong. After that, she'd try and work out how many people had been effected and how they could be returned to normal.
First, however, she had to find Goliath.
As she hurried up to the roof, a little off balance thanks to a pair of wings that she had yet to adjust to, she couldn't help but think of the last time this had happened. It had been Puck's spell that had allowed their feelings to rise to the surface for the first time. So much had changed since them. They had both changed since then. She hoped that the spell would be reversed before it upset the new balance they'd found in their relationship.]
Goliath? [She peered carefully around the door, since she didn't know how much he knew about the voodoo festival and what was happening throughout the Academy.] We've got ...
[Elisa stepped forward, touching his stone cheek with her new talons. Had anyone escaped the effects of the voodoo festival? And exactly what had affected him? Was he permanently stone? Stone at night instead of during the day? At the moment, it was impossible to tell.
But she was going to find out.
She was going to find out and she was going to fix this.]

[Shortly because sunrise, Elisa returned to the roof with the rest of the pieces in place. Thanks to the voodoo festival, Goliath's sleep patterns had switched around. The knowledge was both a relief - he wasn't permanently trapped in his stone sleep, after all - and a little disheartening. She'd have loved the chance to be with him when he encountered the sun for the first time.]
Looks like we're stuck on opposite schedules for a while, Goliath.
[With a sad smile, she touched his cheek again. She'd be turning to stone soon - something that Elisa would never get used to - and she didn't have long to type up a message that he'd find when he woke up. It explained what had happened to her and what she knew about the current situation at the Academy (which, admittedly, wasn't much).
The final line wasn't an afterthought, but she did add it at the last minute, based on the outcome of a small internal war.]
I'm sorry I didn't get to watch the sunrise with you, big guy.
[She read it aloud with a sad smile, before caping her wings around
