04 [Action; locked to Syndrome]

Jan 11, 2011 23:21

[It's late, and very much past curfew. Despite her temporary roommate being sound asleep in their own room, Violet closes the door of the suite as quietly as she possibly can. She can't afford waking anyone up right now, whether it be a fellow student or a teacher. She then walks down the hallway towards Syndrome's room, with a small flashlight in one hand and Syndrome's tablet in the other.

The hallway itself isn't that long, but at this very moment it seems to stretch on for miles. Violet can feel the sense of dread grow strong with every step. Fear as well. The dark makes her paranoid. She's been seeing things the past few days. Sometimes she sees the face of the robber who almost killed her when he was pointing his gun at her head---and when she almost killed him. She has nightmares of her  actually killing him, or him killing her; either way she wakes up with a scream, tears, and a unbearably guilty conscience. But that doesn't compare to how she feels about her family being swallowed up by the Black Mist. She didn't even get to visit them beforehand. And now they're...No, she can't think about that now.

Violet chokes back a sob as she finally reaches Syndrome's door. She glares down at the tablet, placing the blame for everything on it. If she hadn't gone with Mirage to steal whatever information was on this thing, if she hadn't grabbed it during the fire, if she had just done the mature thing and show Mirage that she had the tablet instead of hopelessly trying to crack the code herself, if she hadn't been a coward and just given it back to Syndrome soon, then none of this would have happened. Or at least she could be with her family right now. Screw being quiet.

In one swift motion, she pounds loudly on the door, yelling loudly and angrily]

Open up, Syndrome! Right now! I don't care if you're sleeping and crap. Just open this door!
