EVENT: Voodoo Festival!

Aug 27, 2010 23:46

There's a banner raised between two wooden posts smack dab in the middle of the quad, hand-painted, by the look of it. The lettering is thin and, judging by the slight drip of the red paint, probably done in a bit of a hurry, though the image of a voodoo doll to the right of the words looks pretty well done.

[Lizzie wandered over, out of simple curiosity. Really, she just wanted to know the power of such things, having witnessed and heard Tia Dalma's incredible...powers. Ones Elizabeth could not explain to this day. Now, Dr. Facilier may not be a deity, but she was curious enough to find out what abilities, potions, and charms he possessed.]

Hmm. [She begins to look at some of the labels, inspecting just what there is to be offered. Picking up a bottle, she muses over what its effects are.] Of what consequence would this little bottle be?

Oh, that one? [Has Facilier always been behind Elizabeth? ...Probably not, but you'd never know with the way he sneaked up on her.] Simple hair growth potion. [He spares Elizabeth's locks a glance.] 'Less y'know a bald person, I'm not sure you have much use for that one.

[The sudden appearance of the doctor behind her surprises her for a moment, and she guiltily puts the bottle back down on the counter as if she had been a child caught stealing sweets. With a guilty smile, she turns back around and hopes her suprise was not too obvious.]

I do not know of anyone who is bald, so yes, I would have to agree. [Thank goodness she hadn't opened that.]

You have quite the event on your hands, Doctor.

Yes, I'm quite pleased with the turnout, myself. For a school so chuck full o' straight-laced do-gooders, I'm glad to have gathered together a little crowd of those willing to experiment with the unknown.
