EVENT: Voodoo Festival!
There's a banner raised between two wooden posts smack dab in the middle of the quad, hand-painted, by the look of it. The lettering is thin and, judging by the slight drip of the red paint, probably done in a bit of a hurry, though the image of a voodoo doll to the right of the words looks pretty well done.

Just beyond the stretch of the banner are several brightly colored tents, each with a little sign out front designating the sort of items the curious shopper might find inside. There's one for potions, another for charms and enchantments, and even a dark little tent at the back whose sign only reads "Hexes and Curses: Customers 14 and up ONLY."
And there's Dr. Facilier, standing out front like a king welcoming you into his kingdom, tophat shined and suit freshly pressed.
"Come on in, y'all," he beckons, gesturing with his walking stick. "I take cash... or favors to be named later, if that's more your game. Tricks an' jokes for your friends, curses for those who ain't, love potions... all on the cheap today, folks!"
As you look up at the tents, you think maybe Facilier's being a bit too generous with all this. But hey, what's the harm in a charm or two, right? Ominious? Maybe a tad, but step on up, practically the whole school's here, anyway!
