I'm still that way about characters. I just kind of watch them admiringly from afar. I just feel like maybe I'm bugging them or making it awkward, so I don't say anything.

Yeah, I know what you mean. After over two years of going to Disneyland every week to hang out with characters though, talking to them has gotten a bit easier for me...just a bit, haha. But if I know them well enough, then I should be fine. But yeah, sometimes it's hard to tell if you're annoying them or amusing them. >.<
