Moving On...

Yeeaaaah, winter break P3...not gonna happen. >.>
I've waited too long to update, so i've already forgotten pretty much everything that happened. All I can remember is Christmas and New Years. Uh, Christmas was nice like always. Got up early enough to watch the Disney Christmas Parade on ABC. What was cool was that I got to see them film some of the stuff for that special. Present wise, I got some nice video games from my dad (since my mom knows nothing about them). I got Super Mario RPG (SNES), Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64), New Super Mario Bros. (Wii), Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (DS), Wario's Woods (SNES), Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games (Wii) and Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Wii). Mom got me some Princess and the Frog merchandise and tonnnsss of books, mostly animal books so I can use the pictures for drawing references. :)
Got some clothes (awesome clothes too, like a Super Mario Kart t-shirt), an ink pen, Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise...lots of it too...my mom thinks i'm OBSESSED with it. I mean, I love the movie, but geez, she really didn't need to go and spend all that money. :/ Got some other stuff too, but i'll stop there.
For New Years, I went over to my friend Destini's place for a party with some friends. Lots of fun, plus it was a sleepover. Once I left, Heather, Rachel and I all went to the Irvine Spectrum. It was my first time going there! I've heard so much about it, mainly since some of my friends get to go there often since they live in the area. *sigh* I can't wait to leave San Bernardino County...
What was totally awesome was that we bumped into Erica at Dave and Buster's, so we spent the rest of the night adventuring with her. :D
After all of that...I have no idea what went on the rest of my winter break. XD OH. Spent my life trying to beat Wario's Woods, which I did! My SNES was on for a whopping 29 hours...surprised it still works. Aside from that...uhh...Disneyland trips...saw the last showings of Tiana's Showboat Jubilee, Electrical Parade, Fantasmic!, and Christmas Fantasy.
...yup. No idea what else happened. XP
SO.
Now it's February!
...alright, alright, I won't skip ahead that far.
*attempts to remember what went on after winter break*
Ah yes...Sunday, January 24! Reggie Hatter (which is his nickname, but i'm sure most of you guys know that XP) was there! This was the first time I got to see him on a Sunday in nearly 2 years! Now, I don't like picking favorites, but Reggie is something special. He was the first character I really got to talk to and the first friend I made at Disneyland. I've always been too shy to really talk to cast members and characters at the park, the last thing I want to do is annoy them or act awkward. ><  But a little over 2 years ago, I met Reggie! Things changed from there and the next thing I knew, I started making other friends at the park.
...now i'm getting off track. >>
I wish I could see him more than twice a year though.
AND THERE'S THE BELL. (is totally at school)
GOTTAGOKAYBAI.

-next day-
Alright, i'm back. I don't have much time here but lets see how much I can get done.
*looks up at what she previously wrote*
Ah yes, Reggie. Overall, I met him over 2 years ago, he was the first friend I made at Disneyland (and i've been going for 15 years now), I felt like maybe I was annoying him, he referred to me as 'friend' yet I still felt like I was being too awkward around him, once I finally started to believe that maybe he did accept my friendship, he left Disneyland for 8 months, once he came back, I wasn't sure if he would even remember me or not, saw him for the first time in a year at Goofy's Kitchen, turns out he did think of me as a friend and missed me, I kinda exploded from happiness and started crying, aaaand life has been great since. :D  ...until he left for another 8 months...but now he's back!!
*ahem*
So, January 24, he was at the park! What was really cool about this trip was that he got to meet the rest of the Sunday Crew! It was a really fun day, and I would totally upload some photos if I wasn't at school. XP Both of my computers are epic fail at home, at least for the moment being, so that's kinda why i'm updating here.
Some other news...hm...
Well, I already mentioned the part about my computers being fail. Oh, Rachel and I had a 'childhood day' a bit back. We had our own Saturday Morning (with shows like Alvin and the Chipmunks, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers, Tiny Toon Adventures, etc), we visited my elementary school to relive memories of recess. While I was there, I decided to look around to see what had changed. What really saddened me was back in the year 2000, we had our handprints all over this one wall. I remember getting mine painted red and plastered on the wall...but when I went back, I saw that it was gone. I was able to find a student there and- BELL. Haha, i'll be back later to finish. XP

*next day*
So anyways, I was able to find a student there. Apparently, the wall with my handprint was a victim of graffiti, and unfortunately, they painted over it. Makes me mad that people have the nerve to destroy things like that. ><
And apparently the principal who has been there since the school opened retired back in '06. I had no idea...o__O So, that was kinda surprising to hear. And most of my teachers were gone too. I think my kindergarten and 1st grade teachers are still there, and I reaaally wanna visit them. I don't know if my 1st grade teacher would remember me or not, but i'm positive my kindergarten teacher will. I just need to find time to drop by and say hi...
So, after our elementary school adventure, we drew all over the driveway with chalk. It was so crazy and colorful...fun to look at! Then...I think we had pizza and watched Tron. Aaand..that was our day! We're planning on having another childhood day, since we didn't get to do everything we planned to.
Aside from childhood day...
Hm...i have no idea what else to talk about. XD I'm trying to remember what happened the last 2 weeks...
OH! Rachel and I got to see Orianthi perform live at our Best Buy, then we got to meet her afterwards. Kinda weird, nothing ever happens in our area...
Weeee've been going on a few Redlands adventures. Went to Hobo's Vintage, which basically sells a bunch of clothing and such from the 20s-80s. It's an interesting place. We went to this one...place...I never bothered to learn the name of it. XD But I got a Star Wars poster from 1997! I just need to find room for it...
We went to this yogurt place, that was like...the best place in the world!! I drown mine in toppings. Unhealthy? Yes. Good? YEESSS.
This last Friday, Rachel and I went to see "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightening Thief". I really, really enjoyed it! Maybe I should actually read the book, though...hm...*isn't a big fan of reading, even though she loves to buy books like a madwoman*
Saturday, we went to Palm Springs. We were originally going there to just see some flamingos, go to some thrift stores, and then drive back and see the Cabazon Dinosaurs (since I haven't been there in oh-so-long). As we were driving along, we saw that there was this art show going on, so we decided to stop and check it out. It had tons on neat stuff!
Aaand, there's the bell! *schoooool*
I'll be able to finish this at home now, just got a laptop yesterday! It's so exciting. :D But then again...updating my livejournal at school is kinda exciting too. XP Eh, whatever.
*flee*

*returns, but at home*
Aaafter the art show, that's when we went to see the flamingos! I took tons of pictures of them. :)
Afterwards, we explored this big fancy hotel. Inside, they had a variety of birds in cages. The macaws were my favorite. Then we went on a boat ride that lead out the back of the hotel. It was so amazing! Everything was so pretty to look at! Upstairs, they had shops, which was neat to look at. We made our way back downstairs and to the pool area. There, they had this little stand to order food. It was pretty expensive, so we figured we'd skip it (if their ginger ale wasn't like $5, I would've got it. Love me some of that). After we did our rounds of this amazing hotel, we left and went on our next adventure...thrift stores! We found a few nice ones. I managed to find a Pokemon video that was sent out to certain people before the anime came out. I've watched this special on youtube before, so I was really happy to actually get to own the vhs. I also found the Jurassic Park novel, which I picked up as well, along with some other stuff I can't think of. After our thrift store shopping, we had dinner at Bob's Big Boy. Their food is sooo good, I wish I could eat there more often! Never got the chance to see the Cabazon Dinosaurs, unless you count driving past them. One day, I will go back and relive my memories there! And hopefully the gift store will be open.
The next day was Valentine's Day, which I spent at Disneyland, I spent most of the day at Princess Fantasy Faire, simply because the princes were going to be out! I spent half the day with Brianna and pretty much the entire day with Kevin, which was crazy fun. :)
The next day, I was back at Disneyland for more adventures, this time with rachel and Steven. We bumped into our friends Blake and Jenni while we were there. Always nice seeing them. :) Spent time with Farley the Fiddler and Scott over at Drawn to the Magic. Also saw the Aladdin Musical, which is always fun. Ended our day having dinner at Denny's and killing time on Main Street USA.
A few days later, I got a laptop! For several years, i've always wanted to own one, and now I have one! Feels nice to be on the internet while relaxing in bed. Plus I get to watch all of my favorite tv shows!
Feeew days after that, i got a call from my friend Heather, who was at Disneyland. Turns out Reggie was there, so she had him talk to me!
"LEAAAAAAANNNNNEEEEEEEE. WHY ARE YOU NOT HEEERE?"
'I WISH I WAAASSSSS"
then at the same time, we both yelled...
Me: IIII LOOOOOVE YOOOOOOU!! Hatter: I SHALL DELIVER YOU TEEEAAAAA"
Me: ..."YAAAAY, I LOVE TEEEEAAAAA"
Hatter: .....I CAN'T HEAR YOOOOOU
Me: I SAID I LIIIIIIKE TEEEAAAAAAA
Hatter: ...THAT'S VERY NICE OF YOOOOOU
Totally made my day. XD I was cracking up.
The next day...was a Saturday. Just incase I lost you all, it was this past Saturday.
Rachel and I went to our friend Erin's 21st birthday party! There, we saw Steven and a few of Erin's non-disneyland friends. It was a really fun bunch! We just sat around for hours talking about tv shows, comic-con, disneyland, and such. It never got boring! Plus, the food was great too. :)  And we had margaritas! Well, virgin margaritas. Except Erin, she has the real thing. XP
The next day, Sunday, was a crazy awesome day.
We spent part of the day at Disneyland, then at about 3, I kidnapped my friends Rachel, Heather, Destini, and Steven to go see our friend, Hali, perform in Irvine. She's an amazing singer, btw,
While there, we also saw our other friends, Lizzi, Ray, Brianna, and one we'll refer to as 'Flamongo'. Not 'flamingo'...'flamongo'. Yes.
I was really, really happy to see Flamongo. :DDD
After the show and acting like dorks in the parking lot, Rachel, Steven, Heather and I went to Downtown Disney for the rest of the night. We visited Squishy at Goofy's Kitchen, found an empty arcade, and explored around. Things were going great until we went to say goodbye to Squishy. We kinda got in trouble for hanging around too much. :( From there on, things got worse. My mom and I got pulled over by a cop on the way home. Luckily, no ticket. But still...:/  And my mom's friend dropped off a new cat, which I named "Sarabi". This is our 4th cat, and will probably only be temporary. Hardly got any sleep that night. School has been a drag all week.
In other news, Captain EO opened today at Disneyland. Wish I could've been there. Hopefully I can see it Sunday morning, I need to be in Irvine before 12:30 that day.
And now, I end this journal!
