ooh, memories for me too - I remember the Flying Angel club in Fremantle, when I was small, my parents trying to explain what it was there for.

Oh, cool - d'you think Bodie could have called in there during that 3 years before he jumped ship? *g*

Research topic - what Flying Angel (or other missions, e.g.Stella Maris and others) were open around the world in the early 60's. I believe there were re-opened Flying Angel missions in Southeast Asia quite soon after the war, but it doesn't look as though they had a presence in any part of Africa until the late 70's at the earliest.
