Like always, there was much on Japan's mind as he straightened some papers and set them aside. Friends, family, work-- all stressful things, none of which involved Shiki. He had a lot to think about, but it was safe to say that he had no idea what sort of meeting he was about to deal with. Instead, the movement of someone in the doorway from the corner of his eye did not draw his attention so urgently.

"Ah, class ended a little bit ago. If you are interested in such a thing, I would not mind setting..." When he finally had bothered to look over from the stack of papers now shoved to a folder on his desk, he realized a few things. First of all, that that was Shiki, whom he barely knew and had harmed Seifer recently. Right, he had let that go rather easily, with Seifer's reassurance that she was fine, but what was the most startling at this moment was her eyes.

That was unusual. "Ah... Ryougi-san, is it?"

"Ah," she replied quite casually, stepping further inside the classroom. The lines and dots were everywhere--the walls, the desks, the windows. On Japan, however, the lines were harder to see, almost fainter. Of course, the dot was still nowhere to be seen. She blinked, allowing her eyes to return to their normal color and deactivating her power. It was just one last precautionary check, but it was good to see that she had her eyes under control.

"You'd be Japan, right?"

Japan tried not to look too visibly shocked when her eyes returned to normal. Was he imagining it? He was very sure that even the reddish-orange light that shone through the windows couldn't make anyone's eyes so strange. He avoided it for now, though, avoiding grabbing for the katana at his hip and instead sliding a folder into one of the drawers of his desk.

"That is correct." Now back to giving her his full attention, he tilted his head just slightly. "Is something needed?"

"I guess you could say that."

In one fluid motion, she took out her knife and tossed the sheath somewhere to the side, charging for Japan with her eyes already glowing again. If the desks should have been getting in her way--well, they certainly didn't seem to be.
