Summary: BABY'S FIRST OPEN LOG. I've been waiting a year for this. After many months of derpiness and setbacks, Cafe Alpha has settled into a comfortable routine. Let's take a peek at the daily craziness.
Mingle! Threadjack! Consume copious amounts of caffeine! See someone you don't like, get in a fight! Go nuts! Just remember, you break it, you buy it.
the log:
In spite of the circumstances, Alpha couldn't help but notice that at least as far as her front door, things were looking up. The Discedo branch of Cafe Alpha finally seemed to be running smoothly and life in general had become, if not exactly normal, regular and routine. She had workers - real workers! - and more customers on a daily basis than she had ever had to handle back home. In those ways, odd as it was, the shop in Discedo had started to feel more like a "real" store than the one in her world ever did. The thought amused her, especially when she considered the relative difficulty in maintaining it.
Still, she was used to dealing with less-than-ideal situations when it came to her beloved business. Not many people would have had the bright idea to set up a cafe miles out in the deserted countryside! Then again, not many people were Alpha. The location didn't bother her one bit, whether it was here or home. As long as she continued to try her best, she didn't mind the dangers, the lack of supplies, or the simple uncertainty of day to day life.
The general insanity of some of her customers, however, might be starting to get to her.
