The familiar brush of Alucard's presence washed over her again, signaling the vampire's return but it was a minor deterrent to her slumber. He knew better than to interrupt her rest. Thus she vented a small yawn and slipped deeper under his coat, wrapped in the warmth it now offered, thanks to her own human energy.
But a chill interrupted her doze, cool silk brushed against her pale cheek even as a damningly familiar rumble breathed frigid just beneath her ear. Integra's first notion was to smack him. But, no doubt, Alucard would simply grin and enjoy it, therefore she simply opened her eyes slowly, turning her head to give the cheeky bastard a knowing look from beneath half-lidded lashes.
Ah, so it is this game, is it? "I have awaited your return, Count," she replied quietly. ( ... )

Of course he would, there wouldn't be an argument from the priest as Alucard disappeared down into the basement. He hadn't a single problem with waiting. Heaven forbid he walk in on the woman before she was ready, he knew damn well what happened if you did that to an important dignitary.
Asthe had demonstrated the consequences quite eloquently on his face once, and after the bleeding had stopped he pretty much understood to stay good enough away when he was told.
As for himself, and what he could do to pass the time as he waited... He turned on the communicator and leaned back against a stake to read through the recent days postings.

Integra rose to her feet with a groan and a stretch; Alucard's coffin definitely was not her grand four poster back home, but it did beat the cold stone floor. After tying her boots and shoving her glasses back on her nose, she swallowed four of the white caplets, followed by a long swallow of water. She knew she'd be in danger of dehydrating unless she managed to find suitable lodgings.
Perusing the rest of the vampire's cache, she nodded in satisfaction and bit her lip against the sting of unwrapping her sore arm. The pilot's alcohol had helped, but the gash was still red and angry. Pulling the fabric away caused the skin to stretch and she frowned to see blood begin to seep from the wound. Damn, she'd never again use that bloody tie tack, God.
But rather than waste clean cloths to staunch the blood, Integra Hellsing eyed her hovering servant, blue eyes narrowed slightly. If what he's reported is the truth, then the seals need all the reinforcement they can get. Might as well be ( ... )

"Master." He whispered against her flesh moistened by the smearing blood, "Make me worthy." And kissed away the tiny morsels, running his tongue, that held those mysterious agents to numb and soothe the marred skin, in calculated circles till the wound itself staunched and clotted.
The vampire pulled away, only to take up the small dressings and the bandage and bracelet her wrist firmly covered.
Noting that she was fully dressed in more ways than one, he straightened himself and backed for the door. "I've brought that intriguing one with me as well.. he's awaiting outside, I will retrieve him."
The door opened with a loud moan, knocking his knuckles against it to get Abel's attention down in the darkness.
