Well, at least he knew she was somewhere safe, though perhaps not exactly the most homely of areas. He wrapped his coat tighter around him, the scarf as well, to ward off the bite of the cold as Alucard told him to wait.

Of course he would, there wouldn't be an argument from the priest as Alucard disappeared down into the basement. He hadn't a single problem with waiting. Heaven forbid he walk in on the woman before she was ready, he knew damn well what happened if you did that to an important dignitary.

Asthe had demonstrated the consequences quite eloquently on his face once, and after the bleeding had stopped he pretty much understood to stay good enough away when he was told.

As for himself, and what he could do to pass the time as he waited... He turned on the communicator and leaned back against a stake to read through the recent days postings.

One stood out.

Foolish man.

His eyes narrowed a bit as he read through the entirety of the post, before sighing heavily.

What else could he do? Turning on the voice function, he spoke with the man quickly and quietly. He wanted a place to stay?

"The high school that you're close to. That's the closest place where it's safe." He uttered swiftly to him, before receiving a positive reply and turning it off before he could be caught talking to the man. No need to tell Alucard about it. If this man was half as dangerous as he was now told, it was all the better that he stay some place where he could be monitored as carefully as possible. He made a mental note to tell Esther of it. After all, she was on the police force.

All the better to keep an eye on the strange man.
