Either Abel will come here... or I will go to Alucard...

It was what it all came down to. Having some of his powers restored, the paladin paced back and forth. Some unfortunate fellow had taken temporary shelter at the church, and for once, Anderson could not be bothered with such church guarding.

No, there was something else that weighed heavy upon his mind.

So with a quick turn and a flutter of his torn coat, he stalked towards the "forest" that the vampire had assembled.

He stood, and eyed the crimson coated beast carefully.

When Alucard spoke, something crossed his face. A rather twisted smile.

Will you fight me again? Such a vile creature you were...

The bayonets were tucked away into the sleeves of his jacket... as he awaited for Abel's presence.

To see that look pass across the priest's face was almost infectious and the vampire's mouth curved but slightly.

You are worthy now, I can see that valor of yours shining brightly.

So much it burns..

But not for I.

Not this moment.

With those thoughts passed, suppressing his eagerness to tear into his beloved enemy, he turned and returned to the crypt. Gliding down the stairs like a living shadow, his black silhouette engulfed the gleaming coffin before his hands paved over it like a lover embracing their dearest one.

The lid slid off, revealing the slumbering Childer. So exhausted from his trials of mental and physical. Tortures he should have gotten used to. For they were only about to get far worse. A hand fisted at Abel's collar and he was hauled up from the silk-lined coffin ( ... )

It had been a trying few days. What with Washu, his fleeting conversations with those he had attacked... Who 02 had attacked. And indeed, every one of them told him it wasn't his fault. That there was nothing he himself could have done to suppress the starving nanomachines and hold the creature back. That they forgave him and they would never hold it against him ( ... )

Anderson kept still, as he awaited for Abel to show. He didn't budge, but the twisted grin seemed to almost soften as the priest came into view. The paladin tilted his head ever so slight to the side, looking amused with Abel's appearance.

It was then the man's arms outstretched. He was offering the one who attacked him a hug. Anderson wished to embrace the creature that nearly killed him. One could easily view this as a sign of forgiveness!

Though this would not be the case.

Hiding things from me... you should have told the truth to begin with, you wretched dog.

The paladin's visage seemed to show true forgiveness. His frame was clothed with his garments that were torn looked rather pitiful. Yet there wasn't a bandage upon his body at all. The man's frame was simply scarred further, hardly noticeable as his body was covered with them. Only one who had observed his flesh would be able to tell of the new covered wounds.

Anderson awaited to see if Abel would take the bait...

He hesitated. Oh, he saw. Abel saw every tear in the other mans clothes, and was able, though hazy as his memory was, to place what attacks had made every single one of them. It was strange, as if he had been viewing it all from so far away, when it had happened, and now it all came rushing back to him. An unwelcome tide to him.

Which was why, when he saw the normally cold, separated man open his arms like that, it was why he halted, that logical side once again protesting loudly. Something was wrong, the way he knew Anderson told him that th eman would never do this.

And yet...

The look on Abels face was... The wide eyes, almost disbelieving, it seemed almost childlike. He wanted it to be real. It isn't. He wanted it to be...

He took a step forward, and then another, drawing closer to the man.

It isn't real!

The guild deepened even as a hopeful smile appeared on his face, before gently, hesitantly wrapping his arms around the other man in complete, innocent trust.
