I'm posting here because I don't want anyone to speak on my behalf but myself.
For the record, I'm not being kidnapped and thrown in the mod closet. Admittedly this all has happened faster than I imagined, but I'm here to say one simple thing: I do support Ash and Cat's decision to have Parron step down as mod. I'm still debating my own position as moderator (not specifically because of this, but also due to real life issues) but I hope whatever I decide, it will receive more understanding than torches and pitchforks

You can comment here, questions, concerns, comments can all go on this post. It's a lot to take in, but this is not just the mods' game this is the playerbase's and your opinions do count.
Okay then. This may be the exaustion talking, but is a ban really necessary? I have never seen or heard any problems with her. Perhaps a break from modship for a bit, but a ban isn't fun for anyone. No seriously I'm crying I hate seeing friends in trouble.
At any rate, please don't be too hasty about anything. It could cause problems later that could wreck friendships and the game in general. Pleasepleaseplease.
There have been many complaints and drops due to Parron's behavior and she has been talked to numerous times in the past. She was sent a PM with the list of reasons. If her behavior improves there's a possibility she may be allowed back in the future, but we can't force her to act in a way more considerate to fellow players. We definitely thought a long time about this before reaching this decision and bans are not something that will be happening on any sort of regular basis (if hopefully ever again, it's not something any of us are keen on doing). For now though we want to keep the game a fun place for everyone as best we can and with Parron's refusal to cooperate we can't do too much more than this unfortunately.
How long will it take for the full story to be given to the playerbase? I feel like there's a lot of smoke around what's happened and well. That's what has me the most uncomfortable. I was more upset last night but...
And if not the full story, anything would be better than the vague and meager explanation given here.
I'll put this here too, you've every right to ask for this and this isn't being ignored, we don't want to put up further elaboration of what's in the post without Jenna's input on it. It is basically as it says, but there will be a more detailed explanation once we all have something we agree on. We're sorry for the wait, we know this is not a good time for a wait, especially when so many people have questions about this. But there will be more added to help clear this up.

Throwing in my two cents. I don't know what transpired before this to spring this into action and I wasn't around when Parron was originally banned for a short while the first time, but I think the indefinite ban isn't necessary. Although I agree with her stepping down from modship, a temporary ban would be a more mature way to approach this. (Minimum of two weeks to maybe a max of two months so things cool over and any gossip inspired by this will be old news.)
I'm not expecting much in the way of a "story" but I think it's expected that something a bit more should be explained in the near future to rest uncertain worries/thoughts due to the abrupt way this was handled. I'm not saying I'm completely against it but a lot of people are in complete darkness and while that might be good in some cases, I can see it ruining the game for others. Since specific details might just make things worse and start people pointing fingers (And we really don't need that), perhaps something should be said more along the lines of types of harassment

Your opinion does most definitely count. We do want to give a more concise explanation without naming names not only to keep things from becoming fingerpointing, but because several players have asked to be kept confidential regarding this. We don't want to put anything up without Jenna's input though, but there will be a reply here that's more detailed of what the post above says. Really we're sorry for the wait and hopefully there's something the three of us have had input on we can put up later tonight.
As far as the ban it is currently indefinite because Parron will not be allowed back into the game until there's consistent, solid evidence of a change in her behavior and we can't put a time limit on that, that's up to Parron herself. But she will not be allowed back in on rumors or good faith since this is her second ban for this reason and she's been spoken to so many times by so many people.
