The last day of this plot. The body parts will appear in the 8 locations after "Grendel's" last post and then an open log will be created.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and participation ♥!

THE BODY: Is an adult female. She has pale skin and red hair. Actually, she doesn't look unlike Grendel.
TIME OF DEATH: June 4th, around the early afternoon (around 2:00 PM). It was fairly recent, but notably after Grendel's last post.
CAUSE OF DEATH: The body's limbs have violently been ripped off... and it wouldn't be hard to see that it was the cause of death along with the resulting loss of blood. By markings around the wrists and ankles, it seems like they were pulled off by force, most likely by a rope. The victim may have been tortured before her death, though aside from the wrists and ankles, no other markings are present on the body. The head however was cleanly sliced off by a blade, with all the precision of a professional surgeon.

    Storytime:
  • Holden and Grendel: "Why don't we show them who you really are?"
  • Holden and Lolita: "You found me." (see below)

"You found me," Holden typed into Grendel's communicator, writing the last message "she" would ever give. And Holden, holding the device in his hand, just smiled to himself and shut it off. But of course, she didn't exist anymore. He saw to that personally. And her communicator would never be activated again. He saw to that too, personally.

"Holden, where is Grendel?" he heard a listless Lolita ask later on, looking lost in her own mind.

"Little Grendel had an accident." She didn't notice the glint in Holden's eye, too outside of herself to care. Her ever-cautious attitude had been rendered null, since Green's death (which was essentially an assisted suicide). Lolita became hollow inside ever since, easy to convince and easy to fool. She was weak.

Thus for Holden, setting up his little game to find the ever elusive chip in the city was simple, using Grendel's identity and communicator to start it. Grendel's own body as clues. It wasn't like she could protest. Not anymore. She was a traitor to him, as well.

He continued. "A fitting end to a spy of Accido, if you ask me."

    "A spy...?"

"It seems she had ulterior motives all along. But don't worry, she was taken care of." He paused for a moment, faking concern. "Unfortunately, she leaked some information on the chip before she... departed."

"Hm..." Whether Lolita really cared or not wasn't evident, but he could already see it happening. Her control over Discedo's population was waning with each leak of data, and his influence only got stronger. Holden retrieved a coin from his pocket, and flipped it. Heads.

    "Well, we'll take our chances."
