JUST GOT BACK FROM WATCHING INCEPTION
...

And now,

Dear F-list, to anyone who's seen the movie, what do you choose to interpret from the ending? Was there anything you were unclear about or just wanted to know more? Likes, dislikes, list them! I was nicely surprised by Ellen Page as her role as Ariadne and as the Architect even if she is the ( Read more... )

squee, dear f-list, capslocking

I agree that JGL was hot, even though I've never watched 500 Days or Wuthering Heights (which I'm told he's in) - I just showed up late to the movie, and there was JGL on a train and I was like OMG SUITS ( ... )

... I can't believe I forgot to ramble about Cillian Murphy. Well, there's nothing to say to except YES, YOUR DADDY LOVES YOU, GO LIQUIDATE THE COMPANY and nneevverrr change your eyes, man. Never. *__*

I haven't watched Reservation Road yet, but I bet that the next role LdC is going to involve another dead wife and a bunch of shots of him going DDD: NO, SHE'S DEEEADD, and angst angst angst. I didn't care for Body of Lies either, but according to TvTropes, he keeps getting roles where he dies in, so... count... Inception to that list...? (Metaphorical brain-death in limbo, maybe.)

My take on the end was that Cobb never bloody woke up, the poor bastard. But hey, he's accepted that he's in the dream. I am admittedly in a minority among my friends.

If you're looking for Eames/Arthur shippers - you have me. I even wrote two stories and posted them to the relevant comm: here and here. I will likely write more......

I lean towards that same ending, but its going to take more reading of people posting meta and their takes on it until I finally figure it out, but hey its early yet.

YES~ It was late so I didn't bother searching for the comms that I know should be up since its been like a week since the movie came out and people move fast like that. Carry on writing!

I can't say I'm set on either "YES, IT FELL OVER" or "HE NEVER WOKE UP" since... the movie was epic either way, to me. ;w;a

and ffff, I tried so hard not to get all slashy for once in my life but nope, failed so hard. /searched for fic almost immediately

I THANK MR. NOLAN FOR REMINDING ME WHY SUITS ARE AWESOME. They also added to this feeling to the movie that I heard someone say somehwere, that it's "timeless"? You could watch it again in ten years and it'd still look brilliant.

I'm sitting on the fence, and I'm really more interested in what people will choose to do with in their fics and what details they put in.

I tried telling myself that despite what everyone else was saying, its probably overly-exaggerated. And then I ate my words. Immediately.

I THANK MR. NOLAN'S WARDROBE DIRECTOR FOR CREATING SUCH SUITS THAT SHOWCASE THE CASTS BEST ATTRIBUTES IN SAID SUITS. It most likely would. Tailored suits are always in.
