I don't know what my deal is, but I am incapable at talking about TV shows in a timely manner.

Unlike with so many other things that I watch way after the fact, I do actually watch Grey's Anatomy as it airs.

HELLO.

i fucking hate that getting married and having babies is considered shorthand for character growth. what about ppl who don't want to get married and have babies? we never grow up or have character growth or what? it is fucking bullshit.

also, i know we have totally talked about this, but i remain totally baffled as to why owen and teddy and cristina didn't just have a threeway relationship and/or open up the owen/cristina relationship so owen could just be in love with teddy and cristina at the same time. like, that is the adult and sensical thing to do!

ALSO. i will say that having watched from the first season through now twice over in the last year, i have a totally new respect for meredith, although i do think that the writers treat her kind of unfairly sometimes. but she is so super strong, and derek is such a jerk, and her relationship with cristina is probably the #1 best female friendship to be on tv since cagney and lacey. so.

Ugg, so true. I did NOT understand the point of Cristina and Owen getting married. It was like Cristina and Berk all over again except this time we were supposed to be happy about it, >:(

I just don't think that the writers have any clue as to what to do with Teddy. The stuff with her and the patient this season was JUST SO STUPID. Like, maybe it's time for her to be written out of the show. It would be better than the ridiculousness.

If they're not going with the open relationship, that is, :P

I love Meredith. She's like, ugg, I love her. She was talking to her baby about how it was the two of them and oh my god, I was pawing at the TV. Meredith. Meredith. I love you.

Cristina and Meredith's friendship is my actualfax favorite part of grey's anatomy. Always.

the thing about cristina and first burke and now owen is that. she is so strong. she is so strong and such a badass, and she (i guess, i speculate) wants to be with a dude who is a strong badass, too. the problem is that she keeps hooking up with doctors. and strong badass doctors don't seem to want strong badass women -- they want women who are willing to give up their careers to stay home and raise babies, and maybe turn a blind eye while they canoodle with the residents/interns/whatever. and they are so into cristina b/c she's so smart and challenging and awesome -- and then they realize that she really seriously is not going to actually change for them, have kids, settle down, become less intense, and that is it! that is the moment everything gets fucked up
