I don't know if I've ever told you, but longing that leads to tentative touches, like a brush of the hand or shoulders, or a hand on a knee, sometimes that can be better than porn to me. I lovvvvve this.
Laura, this is so amazingly spot-on. The need, and the way it's tamped down by circumstances, which almost makes it wilder in those moments where they let it get to them. Things that are held back become more urgent in those moments when they're allowed to exist (whether just in thoughts or in reality).
Spencer doesn't even take off his own clothes, but he wants to take off Brendon's. Gets to heart of things nicely.
I love the way this drifts off into different possibilities... the different paths their lives take on any given day, but how all those paths are connected. <3
My favorite thing about that whole 'verse is the way that things are so restrained, and how that would make any moment when something happened that much more meaningful. I love the idea of Spencer and Brendon trying to hold themselves back, and being mostly successful except for the rare instances when they couldn't

Honestly, that kind of longing and UST is hotter to me than porn almost all the time. It's definitely one of my very favorite things in stories.
