Who: Astrid, Rapunzel, whoever else shows up.
What: Weapons Club first meeting!
Where: On the quad near the botanical gardens.
When: Ahahahaha... right after the IC post
Warnings: SHARP EDGES EVERYWHERE. INCLUDING ASTRID’S TONGUE.

Well, he promised that he'd show up as the 'supervision' for this little meeting and he did. While he had several pieces of weaponry brought with him from home, he only brought his khopesh with him, strapped to his waist and in its sheath.

Jumping up from the ground and dusting herself off, Astrid sent Rameses a wave. "Hey! Thanks for coming."

"Alright, I guess all we do now is wait for someone to show. Oh, I didn't get a chance to tell you, but we might have a teacher coming. He spoke to me after you'd already left."

She walks over to shake his hand hello, being careful not to bump any of the tables.

When it came to fighting with weapons, Aladdin tended to improvise. He made use of whatever happened to be around and, consequently, hadn't brought anything to the Academy or to the meeting. He arrived outside the botanical gardens in plenty of time and headed straight for the table, peering curiously at the weapons that had already been laid out.

If nothing else, it'd be an interesting afternoon. And it would definitely distract him from Jasmine.

Improvising? Definitely okay in Astrid's books. Seeing that Aladdin had shown up, she wandered over and stopped next to him, holding her hand out to shake his. " Hey, I'm Astrid. See anything you wanna learn about?"

"I'm Aladdin," he said, shaking the offered hand with an enthusiastic grin. He could only shrug in response to the question, his expression becoming a little more sheepish. "Everything?"

She laughs a little, and it almost sounds alien. "That's cool, I'm gonna go through a few things now anyway. We have a few people here, that's good enough for me."

She gestures for him to follow her over to where Axel and Rameses are, readying herself to teach. Preferably without slicing Axel open.

He had said he would show up and, of course, he was going to be true to his word. Conversations with Astrid had been a small source of amusement for him after he arrived ever since he found out what got her angry. It was like tormenting a puppy by not giving it it's ball.

Holding his large chakrams in his hands, Axel appeared at the courtyard she had chosen. Where he came from...well that was his little secret. Wasn't exactly his fault that it seemed like he showed up out of nowhere.

"Gods- Axel! Where did you- that was not funny. Were you trying to be funny?" Astrid was fuming already, but attempting to keep it in check. She could fight him later. "I'm going to deal with you after this. Just stay here and listen."

Glaring at him once again, she brings Aladdin and Rameses over to stand with them, waiting for everyone to be ready before she begins speaking.

Axel shrugged with a small smirk quirking the corner of his lips, "What are you talking about? I wasn't doing anything other than saying hello."

From the looks of it, there were two other guys around his age with Astrid, being the small token female, being the one to teach them. And from her statement, Axel can only assume that she wanted to use him for demonstration.

Well, who was he to refuse? But she was going to get a little surprise if she thought he would go easy on her.

"Hey," said Aladdin, giving Axel a bemused grin and a half wave of greeting. He'd grown up on the streets and knew the advantages of being able to seemingly appear out of nowhere, so he didn't even blink at his apparent materialization. (Besides, his best friend was a magical being with phenomenal cosmic powers. Genie appeared and disappeared all the time.)

Jim had heard about this meeting and decided to drop by, pretty much bringing the only weapon he has...which is his laser gun.

Astrid caught sight of him from where she stood with the others and waved him over eagerly, shouting to him, "Hey! I didn't know you were coming!"

Get on over there, Jim, because whether she admits it or not, Astrid's pretty happy you showed up.

A slight smile appears on his face, though knowing Jim, he'll still play aloof. He walks over to the group, slightly fidgeting with his earring. Nervous habit?

"Hey. Yeah, I heard some people talking about it. Thought it could be cool."

"I'm running it, how could it not be?" She spots the laser gun, and raises an eyebrow appreciatively. "Mind giving me a demonstration? Don't worry, we're 'supervised.'"
