She was also on the same floor as the dynamic duo (and some creep sisters, but Tulio had 'no comment' when it came to them). He was just walking out of his dorm so he could go outside and enjoy the nice weather, but immediately changed his plans when he saw the girl with the heavy luggage.

"Whoa! Hey! Let me help with that?" He offered a friendly grin as he reached down to wrap his fingers around the handle, right next to her hand. He wasn't going to yank it from her but he was showing that his intent was genuine.

"What room are you in?"

For being the hallway of certain doom, its residents sure were friendly. Yanking the last suitcase from the elevator, Violet looked up in surprise at the offer of help. To be honest, she didn’t expect that she’d to run into anyone. But, hey, as long as it wasn’t Syndrome, she was fine with making some actual human contact.

“Oh sure. Here.” She returned the grin, albeit more shyly, and handed him a suitcase. “Um, I’m in 603. And thanks by the way. If I carried all of these by myself, I probably wouldn’t have made it past the elevator.”

"Nah, you would've been fine. You look tough." He winks and takes the suitcase. He slightly slumps when the weight hits his muscles, trying his best to look like he wasn't straining as he straightened back up.

What did she pack?! Bricks!?

"I'm Tulio, by the way. I'm over in 605." He dragged the case over to her door with both hands, then waiting for her to open it up. He may be a teacher, but he didn't have the keys to student rooms!

Nawww, I'm just calling you fierce. As for Tulio.....>.> superdupervi October 21 2010, 21:15:38 UTC
“Um. Thanks, I guess.” Violet couldn’t help but blush slightly at the compliment and the wink. It had caught her somewhat off-guard. Still it was nice that, for once, someone didn’t underestimate her.

When she saw the man struggle with her suitcase, she quirked up an eyebrow, but didn’t say anything about it. After all, her mom did stuff her luggage with more junk than she would ever need. While opening the door, she said, “Nice to meet you, Tulio. I’m Violet.” She turned to look inside the room for a second, and let out an impressed whistle. “Wow this is a lot bigger than I thought”

She turned back to him. “Uh, you can just leave that here. Thanks for the help again.”

[Being a genius had it's advantages. A whole LOT of advantages, to be honest. Cracking the code of zero-point energy--something that the greatest minds in the world hadn't been able to get anywhere near doing--was one of his proudest and most fearsome achievements ( ... )

[Forget hallway of certain doom; this was the hallway of immediate, ‘ready to toss her to large, ravenous dogs of flaming hell’ doom.

As soon as she got out the last bag from the elevator, Violet noticed the man pacing back and forth from the hallway to a room, but didn’t immediately recognize him. And then she looked up and saw his hair.]

Oh shit.

[As soon as she said those words, she clamped her mouth shut. She didn’t mean to say them, and she definitely didn’t mean to say them that loudly. Pushing away the urge to turn invisible, Violet slowly and quietly had her way to room 603. Hopefully Syndrome was too engrossed in whatever he was doing to notice her.]

[His files from Accounting were so out of order, and he scowled in frustration. And as he was about to take a step back into his room, he heard a high pitched curse word that made his head snap to attention.

For a moment, he let his surprise show--he wasn't expecting to be disturbed, and a part of him hated that he wasn't wearing his customary clothing--but then he remembered himself, and smirked. This was the first time she'd seen him in the flesh in two years, after all. He turned towards and raised an eyebrow.]

Now that's a word that I'm almost positive good ole' Mom and Pop wouldn't appreciate. Away from home for less than a few days and already feeling the need to rebel?

gah. Violet's mind is so tl;dr superdupervi October 21 2010, 23:15:10 UTC
[As soon as the taunt reached her ears, Violet stopped mid-step in her tracks. It had been foolish of her to think that Syndrome wouldn't notice her. With that one slip up and all the sound her bags made, she was sure that everyone in Hoover Hall was aware of her presence. Taking a deep breath, she tried to will the feeling of fear away and turned to face him.

At first, the fear came back with a vengeance. But it then dissipated when she took in Syndrome's unusually casual appearance. She stared at him for a moment, her expression slowly changing from panicked to puzzled, curious even. He looked so normal to her; it was hard to believe that this was the man who had almost killed her family two years ago.

Still that smirk was enough proof that he is that man. At least his clothing made him seem less threatening and more just plain intimidating; she could handle that. Feeling more confident, she rolled her eyes at him.]

Right. Because cussing is the most rebellious thing a good girl like me can do.

The Weird Sisters resided on the sixth floor of Hoover Hall. Sometimes, they kept to themselves, and sometimes they patrolled the dormitories - both Hoover Hall and Joe West. From their experience, most students didn't want to actively seek out help, but many would accept it when it came right to them and was offered.

They were strolling through the halls when the elevator opened and a teen girl stepped out with her bags. She didn't appear happy. It could have been for any number of reasons. The sisters had seen the girl's introduction over the school network and decided they should greet her. After all, they were going to be residing not only in the same building, but on the same floor.

"Good evening," greeted Luna.

"Do you need some help with all of those bags?" inquired Seline.

"Four sets of hands are better than one," pointed out Phoebe. "It should not take a great deal of time."

Violet was honestly surprised when the sisters came up to her, for it seemed like they suddenly appeared from nowhere. However that didn't stop her from being one of those many students who happily accepted help when it was offered to them.

"Yeah, that'd be great! Thank you." She smiled sheepishly at all of them, letting go of her bags with the exception of the heaviest one. "Uh, you can just leave them in front of room 603. Oh I should probably introduce myself. Um, I'm Violet Parr. Nice to meet all of you."

The three sisters evenly divided the bags up and lifted them. Technically, they could have teleported themselves, the girl, and all of the luggage to her room. However, they were keeping a low profile as far as their abilities went. All they'd admitted to Syndrome was that they'd had a longer than human lifespan, and only when specifically asked. There were a few who knew what they were and had some idea of what they were capable of. They were trying to keep those numbers low. If/when they ever found out about Violet's abilities, the irony would not be lost on them.

"I am Phoebe," said the blonde sister.

"I am Seline," said the dark haired sister, introducing herself next.

The white haired sister introduced herself last. "I am Luna. It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Violet."

The irony wouldn't be lost on Violet either. As of right now, she wanted to keep mum about her powers. Mostly because of the threat Syndrome posed if anyone found out she was an Incredible. She reluctantly admitted to herself that attending the academy would give her a fresh start. A chance to be a normal teenager.

She smiled as the older women introduced themselves, taking a mental note on who was who. "Are all of you teachers here?" she asked, curious about how three sisters end up working in the same place.
