I am going to look for a new job. My boss does not even know how demeaning and abusive his tone is. There is no movement toward growth, change, or reconciliation if someone is completely out of touch with how they come across to people. Anyone have any leads?? I need a new job like woah.

I cut my hair and dyed it last night. I made the bangs angled and really short and the back spiky. I kept some length in the back (Bowie mullet anyone? haha)

But it looks good! YAY!

I just saw a banner on MySpace in support of the Republican party!! OF COURSE! Because the bulk of us 20-something artsy types are stout Republicans who want Bush to have another 4 years to wreak havoc on our country, our society, and our environment. I tracked two more songs today. I mixed one down and tweaked the mix on one of the ones I tracked last night. To be honest, 2 of them already sound so clean and polished, I think I might be able to use them as-is, rather than track vocals in a studio. Of course, they need to be mastered ( Read more... )

I recorded two songs so far this weekend - I started the first during the week and mixed it today and did the overdubs. The 2nd is complete after a 10-hour musical excursion. My goal is to complete one more song tomorrow. I am so happy with how they turned out!!!

I forgot to mention that I finally started recording. I couldn't get Logic to work and it was driving me nuts. Thanks to James, I can now record. He brought over this really basic program, but it does the job. I tracked the basics on one tune and it actually sounds really clean. YAY!
