The Logical Response To The Discovery That Your Lover Has Turned Into A Kitten

May 28, 2009 21:32

I took my sister and her friend to see Star Trek yesterday because they hadn't seen it yet. They somehow got it into their heads that Spock loves kittens, so I entirely blame them for this...

This was so totally weird, but somehow so amazingly good! For some reason the idea of Nyota as a cat just... works. This was so great - I'd love to see a continuation of it, maybe what happens when she gets turned back?

Thank you for reading my mind - what happens is this: she gets turned back, she's naked (obviously) and a bit disoriented what with being turned from a cat into a human. There's a bit of leftover cat instinct, so what she does is see her sexy half-Vulcan manslave, pounce on him, (and she's started from a crouch, so it's a proper, leap-through-the-air pounce) wrap her legs around his waist and his arms around his neck and do what she hasn't been able to do in feline form: kiss the life out of him.

He catches her instinctively, kisses her back, rests his forehead against her and ask "here? Now?" in a sort of no-we-can't-have-sex-right-here-in-public way. There are other people there. Jim starts to usher them out. Spock knows that it's more logical for them to stay stuck together like this because it's less exposing for Nyota, easier to hide his arousal. And she's saying "yes, here. Now," and everyone's pretty much out of there, and he slams her up against a wall, latches his mouth onto one of her nipples and slides two fingers inside ( ... )

I hope they do turn her back, it does seem rather a waste of a perfectly good human - but it makes a fantastic crack scenario.

It's more or less canon that Spock likes cats. He never says so explicitly, but there's a cat (who turns out to be a highly intelligent alien in disguise) who Spock seems to really enjoy petting (actually, I think he denies seeing the appeal of pets, but it's obvious from the context that he really does....)

Wow, I didn't even know that. TOS is the one series I haven't seen much of. I guess cats are just obviously suited to his nature.

And I have something planned in which she is turned back ^_^

I wish I could remember what episode is, but I can't... "Assignment: Earth", maybe?

And yeah, there's something about Spock that says 'cat person; Kirk, on the other hand, would probably want a big floppy affectionate dog'

Kirk's ideal pet would probably be a dinosaur. I can see him having a dog when he was a boy - a partner in crime and best friend.

I guess Spock is similar to Data from TNG, and he has a cat.
