Congrats on pulling the critter through.

And...I sort of love your outfit. <3

Thank you! It's always a relief when an animal who comes in needing emergency surgery (as was the case with this dog) makes it; that being said, the surgeon above is one of the greatest doctors I know and is definitely the best of the best when it comes to surgeons! So... any animal under his care is in the best hands possible. :)

Also, thank you for the props on my fashion! (That's what ZERO sleep will do to a person! Haha!!)

WELL THANK YA, THANK YA. As if I wasn't zany enough, try letting me go with no sleep and 3+ cups of coffee and this... is what happens.

(The best part is that all of my good judgement goes out the window when I don't have any sleep, so this is probably about the point where I would have walked outside and gone to wave at cars driving by, just to get a rise out of people. Needless to say, THAT THANKFULLY DIDN'T HAPPEN.... THIS TIME!)

Being the owner of two Giant Breed Dogs Gastric Torsion is Always something I am aware of ;-)

It's something you can take steps to avoid but it's always a roll of the dice.

I'm proud of ya for being aware about that gastric torsion! (Though, actually... I'm proud of ya in general for just being OUTRIGHTLY AWESOME!!)

True that you can't predict who it's gonna happen to, and it's unfortunate that it's somewhat idiopathic, but... educating yourself to be aware of what to look out for is the first step, and like any disaster, preparing for it always makes you the wiser! :)
