Got called "sir" and "young man" a total of three times last night. Maybe I should rethink that whole "being female" thing."

For those of y'all who don't know how awesome Cage the Elephant is/are, check this out. "Back Against The Wall" is the song they should have used for the t.v. incarnation of The Dresden Files, had the song been written and the band formed at the time. While retrieving something from my restaurant's walk-in cooler the other day I opened the door too fast, and something fell from the top shelf right on top of my head. When I could see again I looked for what had hit me and found that an eight pound bar of chocolate had cracked me on the noggin. The chef comes in to see what was taking me so long. ( Read more... )
