figuring out an injury

Stella whacked herself on our stone wall, her left hind leg, we were playing soccer and she was taking a really tight fast growling turn around a corner after the ball... she stopped suddenly, cried, wouldn't put weight on it, I felt all up and down it, looked at her pads... she didn't flinch, but then she lets us do all kinds of things to her

When in doubt rest for several days. Might be a bruise but I still worry about a cruciate ligament tear, this is the second time - is it the same leg? She doesn't have to be completely lame, but rest and Traumeel first to start with, and then maybe the vet.
