Had a great time in Oregon, especially time with Sarah and her roommates. She took me to get crepes and Lebanese food, both yummy. My old friend Twilla is on life support, not supposed to make it. I feel so bad for her family. Her husband called last night, but I couldn't go to the hospital then. I kind of want to go today, but Gary doesn't. It's so hard to have to see her like that.

I watched "The Soloist," and the best thing about it was that Nelsan Ellis was in it (you know, Lafayette). Actually Jamie Fox and Robert Downey Jr. were great in it too, but it was Nelsan Ellis who really made my day ( Read more... )

We went to a barbecue at Becky's Saturday for my goddaughter's birthday. Her uncles won my whole life's savings of $6 playing Pai Gow. It was fun, though. I love that game.
