015: Father's Day planning [Phonecall]/[Action] for 1333 Benny rd residents

May 24, 2011 05:40

I never really paid much attention...but when's Father's Day, exactly? [She'd like to know when to lock herself up somewhere safe for a day. She likes Toris and all, but the idea that she'd be listening to anyone, even the chauvinist drones? That's not something she wants to deal with.] Some time in June, I know, but what day?

bloody sexist drones, phonecall, sooo not a wife, drones, planning, fathers day

"Tentatively it is set for my attic, but if I can find a place with fewer men and a better fortification point I am not above moving it."

"If I spot anything I'll make sure you know." Because it was an important group effort to make sure the drones of the city didn't get to order women around.

It's on the third Sunday in June.

[Her father was dead all of her life, so it was an awkward affair. Her mother would dig out the photo albums and dwell on stories when she was younger, and then when she was older they often tried to ignore it was any different of a day at all, so the exact date blurs in her head.]

Got it, I'll set my calendar.

[Lithuania's in the kitchen, being a housewife cooking.]

If it happens like with Mother's Day and you want to go around doing what people say, should I tell you not to?

[Well he's doing it about five hundred times better than she would.]
