So...this sucks.

I guess this has everything to do w/ the fact that livejournal's site /url isn't 'secure' anymore? IDK if you've noticed there's a red bar across the lock sign on your url bar. Which I can't screenshot right now - because LJ is now blocked at my work ( Read more... )

about: dig should be working instead, about: livejournal, about: things that suck, about: wtf dude

I hadn't noticed but I have a different indicator. It's an "info" circle rather than a red slash.

Anyway, mind if I share this with the class? There are some people who probably would like to know.

Haha. My first response was I would reply back to your email but you know llivejournal is blocked at my job

anyways using my mobile to respond to this go right ahead hopefully someone will have a solution because being a moderator for a community without LJ at work is going to be awful

I've been unable to log onto LJ a number of times when I'm not home. It could be because of explicit ratings or your firewall considers it unsafe.

This has been happening to me for over a week with outlook.com, I'm wondering if this is a Chrome issue.

I was just about to tell Dig that I noticed it with Outlook (and IJ, DW, and AO3 actually).

I just downloaded and tried it on IE and I got in with no security problem. I also had Norton Safe Search go through the site and no problems.

It looks like it's Chrome's issue.

Shelly just shared this link with me about LJ. We aren't completely imagining it.

It's been blocked for me for about the past month. I get a big nasty message about servers in Russia. Blargh.

Did you try to bring the issue into the attention of the technical support? I mean, I bugged them when there was an issue with b-day notifications and they actually responded (after they fixed it, but still...) - maybe this is a fault they can get rid of?
