My notifications work like Fire's, hit-and-miss if someone mentions me all others don't work. I try to look at the bdays in advance but I'm not as often online as I used to be. It's good that they still seem to work for others as the gifts sometimes help to realise it's one of my friend's birthday today. LJ's doing a shite job atm.

I'm really unhappy with LJ. It seems to be about the least user-friendly site I've used, and I'm bummed that it is where the Merlin people are

You can track posts if you want to see what people are saying on certain discussions if that helps.

Sadly LJ is the best we have because tumblr is a million times worse for discussions and interacting.

I track tons of things. I track people and communities and certain discussions - especially on merlin finders... so that even months later if someone comes back to it I will know!

It'd be nice if there was an option to be notified about all the comments for always, and not have to do each individual one. I find it very frustrating.

How weird! My notifications have been mostly fine, although LJ has been a bit sporadic when it comes to notifying me I've been mentioned in a post. Although, I suppose I wouldn't know if it hadn't been telling me things...I'll have to go and check o_O
