Also I just re-read your post and realized you aren't referring to Draco realizing his sexuality *after* his marriage. :p I do sort of understand what you're saying but (and it could be because I'm not the biggest Harry fan) I think Harry is a very flawed person. He's brave, that's true, and has the ability to be selfless but he's also super fucked up in the head ( ... )

Honestly it's b/c I am listening to these really angsty book series and they have nothing do with the HD situation, it just made me angsty and about things I give a shit about and things that piss me off...

maybe I am projecting.

In my head, I just don't see Harry as being that...what's the word...shallow? There were plenty of times he could have been dark but wasn't. There were plenty of times he could have taken the easy road, but didn't. - I totally see this! In a sense, I think Harry is very flawed. As well he should; if we had a "perfect" person as a protagonist, the story wouldn't be very compelling.

Ok, I totally see your point. I also think something is off in those stories. I believe he would want a blood child but would just as easily love an adopted one. And if he found out he preferred men, he'd just go ahead no matter what people said. He had plenty of times at school when he had nearly no support.
But a canon Harry falling for Draco would be under such a mind-fuck he'd be a loose cannon. lol

lol SECTUMSEMPRA was when he was 16 years old. LOL. and he immediately regretted it, of course - hence, he's not all goody two shoes.

Ohhhhhh I agree with you hun I just can't see him doing that to Draco.

I am a little hypocritical of them though. I can admit that I guess LOL!

I like infidelity fics (I just reced one from the DTH fest) As long as they aren't with each other and sleep with someone else.

I like Harry with Draco, yet can't read about him leaving Draco for someone else.

I have no issue with him being with Ginny yet leaving her for Draco.

*sighs* I am sooooooo hypocritical.
