I got an AppleTV last week, and I installed Boxee on it first thing after getting it home. The nice thing about Boxee is that it's a convenient interface for watching network TV legally without the hassle of cable, and they've got a large library of older shows. Well, so far so good on the civil liberties / terrorism front. I may disagree with him on plenty of issues, but it looks like this won't be one of them, and that's a pretty good start.

On a completely different topic, I'm reading through the Mouse Guard RPG, and HOLY CRAP do I want to run some Mouse Guard now.

I'm not quite sure why we bother with things like representative government anymore. The Senate voted against giving handouts to the car companies, largely because the auto workers' union refused to accept pay cuts as part of the deal. But 'thankfully' the unelected officials in the Treasury Department were on hand to give them our money anyway:
