The ways in which television viewing affects sexual attitudes and behaviors may vary by gender. Collins et al (2004) concluded from a telephone survey of teenagers that watching sexual content on television predicts earlier initiation of sexual behaviors. Dating is srs bizness. It is a screening process for your future spouse, with whom you will (YOU WILL, dammit) raise a passel of children. One wrong move, and you might scare away your one true love. Also, if you aren't paying attention, you could end up married to the next Hitler. So you gotta bring your A game.

Got to agree, dating is certainly not a game.

When I play games, I try to win. That means someone else has to lose. In a relationship, that's a bad bad thing.

When I play games, I walk away afterwards and forget the game. After a relationship, I am much more affected.
