Just got back from court. It was supposed to be a pretrial conference aka let's let the lawyers talk and find out how good of a deal we can get.

So Jeff (my lawyer) and the prosecutor have a talk, and the prosecutor goes "Oh, we can't offer any deals at that time."

I ask him how my chances are, and he says

it's one bit of good news in the insanity of my life right now, and it's a pretty BIG bit of good news.

Told ya i refused to go back to jail! Can still be a cop, too! :D

Now, if I can only find out what's going on with my health and my car, and then figure out what the hell is going on with my mom, I'll be good! :D

I swear, I've got more lives than a damn cat when it comes down to it. There was no WAY I was pleading guilty to OWI. I was reckless, that I'll admit every damn day of the week. I was NOT drunk though. Although, me getting off pills was the silver lining.

I must have a pot full of miracles shoved up my ass cuz that's the only reason why i can understand i'd be able to keep pulling them out of there.
