The article on the Bayern site basically says that Klose damaged a ligament in his right ankle joint and will be out of action for two weeks at least. He'll get an operation within the next couple of days. Apparently, he stepped into a hole on the pitch against Bochum and immediately knew that something was damaged. He had an MRI on Sunday that affirmed his worries. Klose will miss the league game against Karlsruher SC next Saturday as well as two World Cup qualifiers. Toni is expected to re-join team training on Tuesday, Ribéry's return is less certain but hoped for. Same goes for Borowski.
Ah damn. What are we supposed to do with one striker only? Of course, this might not matter if our midfielders keep scoring (and especially if Sosa finally shows us some of the brilliance I'm CERTAIN he has!), but it still worries me.
