That's the thing with the Castaways, on the one hand it's so charming you would always want to play it, but then when you do it's a bit... limited. Splitting them up should definitely help. There's no going back to civilization, now, they need to embrace that reality and make the island their home, each of them individually, fight that gregarious "survivors of the same cruise ship" instinct.
Are you going to turn some of the community lots into residential lots?

It's true, I definitely miss some of the time-filling options of the full game. I've added a few of the Star&Moon sets and those have been good for variety so far!
Yep, I've turned a few of the comm lots already. I doubt I'd be able to play this 'hood without that trick! So handy for all these playables. I'm debating converting another comm lot, but I do still have the marriage hut (or whatever it's called...story home #3) in my back pocket for emergencies... Not my favourite lot, but I'm sure a castaway squatter or two wouldn't mind it! That's a step toward embracing reality, right?
