Would somebody please tell me how to clear space on the start-up disk of a Mac? I've tried deleting files (jpeg and others) off of my HD, but for some odd reason, it won't let me. I can't delete anything. Is there some secret password to deleting files off a Mac? And what the hell is a start-up disk, anyway? I'm totally lost.

Three cheers for Columbus Day!!! Not that I particularly care for Mr. Columbus, but it's nice to have a three day weekend. I guess that's the benefit of working for a company that mostly contracts with the government - you get a shit load of days off.

Just got done watching the season 3 premier of BSG. It was powerful, emotional, heart-wrenching, suspenseful drama. More than I could have hoped from a season premier. I'm so in love with this show, the actors, the creators. I want to have their cylon babies.

Rarrrr! I missed the season premier of House tonight. *weeps* Why? Why!?! Are they going to repeat it? I couldn't even tape it because my DVR is broken. I'm so pissed!

I'm listening to an old Garth Brooks CD! I forgot how much I used to love him. Scoff if you will, but he really made some great music in his day. I'm kind of glad he got out of the biz when he did.
