Clock struck 7:54 PM on the wall clock. Six more minutes until Sasuke was supposed to arrive over at his house. Minato was more excited than he should have been by the teen coming over, and it had a lot to do with the fact that he went through a whole day of bouncing back and forth to make Sasuke his own true son. So tonight was important to him. He wanted to know as much about Sasuke as he possibly could-- sans alcohol this time.

The older blond paced back and forth nervously, biting on his thumbnail and peering like an anxious housewife through the blinds next to his front door. He'd light up a Marlboro but Sasuke hates smokers. The house was clean because Sasuke likes a tidy house. Minato bought his next arsenal of assault for the teen's affections earlier yesterday: Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Pete's Dragon, Finding Nemo, and Mary Poppins. All the DVDs were still in the same store bag, all unopened and security stickers still in tow. Minato wanted to see Sasuke's face when he showed the DVDs to him. He hoped there'd be a smile on ( ... )

As punctual as he personally allowed, Sasuke slowly turned and parked his silver Eclipse on Namikaze's front parking lot. A long day of school, work, and maintaining his cool composure took a visible toll on him. Not only was Sasuke completely exhausted, there was a likely chance he would swallow his pride and ask Namikaze if he could crash here for tonight.

... Not that the man would protest such a request. Sasuke still wasn't all comfortable with calling this strange man "father," yet he had no choice but to play along till he can get his retraining order in effect.

Oh, yes. He filed one anyway.

Sasuke jangled and fumbled with his keys in a palm as he walked meekly towards the front door. He stilled to pause and heave a long, loud sigh... only to see a shadow and two briliantly blue eyes peering intensely through an opening in the front window.

"..." Sasuke quickly forced himself to the front door and pressed the doorbell, not even bothering to wonder how long he's been stared at out here.

"SON!" The front door swung open immediately a second after the door buzzer rang, revealing a very happy and smiling Minato. Giving absolutely no chance of the youngster to escape, Minato widened his arms and gave Sasuke one of the most intense bear-hugs he has given in a long while.

"I thought something happened while on your way over here!" Minato said in the crook of Sasuke's neck.

"..." Sasuke could do nothing except accept this... clinging, warm thing to do as he pleased.

And Minato hugged very tightly.

"... Could you let go," he said quietly, fighting urges to squirm free, knowing the man will just help himself once again. "I can't breathe."

To be honest, the intrusion of this one Namizake Minato into his brother's life was something that was out of his calculation altogether. Though so, through observation of the various online activities of this said Minato, Itachi thought that maybe this Minato might be something good for his little brother. Despite the hilarity of the whole stiuation, he thought that maybe Minato could give his brother something that he himself was unable to. Maybe, just maybe, Minato would make a brother/father than himself.

That was probably why he found himself, after dealing with some family business, in front of Minato's house. His prided vechicle was parked next to Sasuke's in the parking lot.

He rang the doorbell.

Minato heard the doorbell ring again, and perked up even brighter. Could that be Neji and that Lee Gai went on about with pride? It was obviously not the deliveryman-- since when were they THAT fast? He would eagerly get up right now to answer, but he was so comfy here with Sasuke! Oh well, he'll make it up to him by cuddling with the teen during the movie later on!

"Hold on, that could be your brother. Stay put!" The older man rushed his hands through that head of hair and put on a wide grin before swinging open the door-- and Sasuke's brother was at the other side of it?

"Heeeeey! Thought you wouldn't make it, old boy!" Minato reached over and gave Itachi a hearty pat on his shoulder. "Come on in! Sasuke just showed up so make yourself at home!"

"..........."

Urges to run the hell out of there rose to a fevered pitch. Instead, Sasuke took the store bag of discs, sunk deeper into the sofa cushions, and quietly perused its contents in his lap.

"Ducky! Hey! Aren't you going to say hi to-- ah. What was your name again, there?" Minato was horrible with names. Horrible.

Rock Lee was always perfectly punctual. Well, had been perfectly punctual, at least, and then Neji had come back into his life and perfectly punctual had changed to almost-always-half-an-hour-or-so-late, but it wasn't really his fault, despite the fact that the aforementioned white-eyed man was currently glaring at him like it was. Okay, so maybe he'd been the one to intitate things this time, but Neji certainly hadn't tried to stop him, and the way he'd been buttoning that silk shirt - it was unfair that the Hyuuga could make getting dressed look far more sensual than getting undressed. And thus, they were late, but hopefully not too late.

Lee whispered a quick apology and pressed a kiss against Neji's temple before ringing the doorbell.

"Sasuke, I won't HAVE you getting nasty letters like this ever again! And she was talking about getting pierced down there and putting condoms in it! I will teach you some old-fashioned values, do you understand me young m-- " Minato's lecture was cut short by another doorbell ring.

"We will finish this discussion later." Minato crumpled the pink atrocity in his fist and rushed to answer the door-- and to be met by his other son and his friend! "Hey you guys! Thought you got lost! Come on in!"

"Sorry we're late... Lee had some... problems that he needed tending to..." Neji glared half-heartedly at his boyfriend, and plastered a smile on his face for his new... father.

It still felt weird to refer to someone by that title. While he had originally called Minato out just for the basis of abusing the youngest Uchiha, maybe perhaps having a father figure wouldn't be so terrible. The man that was supposed to raise him left him to nannies and babysitters growing up, so the Hyuuga never got to do any of those activities dads do with their sons.

Even though he was well past the age of playing catch with dad and watching Disney movies, Neji was still oddly enough looking forward to this, to meeting the person that had reached out to him with little to no questions asked. He seemed like a good enough person, anyways, and Lee was always encouraging him to make new connections and try and form friendships. This could potentially be good for the pearl-eyed male.

Potentially.

"Did we miss any of Finding Nemo?" Neji made a mental note ( ... )

Minato gave Neji a very high browed look at the glare he gave Lee. Bably blues danced in thought between the two youngsters, and a question was at the tip of his tongue to ask exactly what Neji meant by that.

-- No! Not his business. None at all. "Nope! We haven't gotten started yet, so come on in and make yourselves at home!" Minato gave Neji a hearty pat on the back as he led him into the living room where Sasuke sat. He was sad that Itachi was driven off by Minato's outburt but the evening will go on as planned.

"Ah -- I ordered a few pizzas and soda for you guys! Though if you want somethin' now I only have a few bottles of Fiji and some Heineken?"
