To be honest, the intrusion of this one Namizake Minato into his brother's life was something that was out of his calculation altogether. Though so, through observation of the various online activities of this said Minato, Itachi thought that maybe this Minato might be something good for his little brother. Despite the hilarity of the whole stiuation, he thought that maybe Minato could give his brother something that he himself was unable to. Maybe, just maybe, Minato would make a brother/father than himself.

That was probably why he found himself, after dealing with some family business, in front of Minato's house. His prided vechicle was parked next to Sasuke's in the parking lot.

He rang the doorbell.

Minato heard the doorbell ring again, and perked up even brighter. Could that be Neji and that Lee Gai went on about with pride? It was obviously not the deliveryman-- since when were they THAT fast? He would eagerly get up right now to answer, but he was so comfy here with Sasuke! Oh well, he'll make it up to him by cuddling with the teen during the movie later on!

"Hold on, that could be your brother. Stay put!" The older man rushed his hands through that head of hair and put on a wide grin before swinging open the door-- and Sasuke's brother was at the other side of it?

"Heeeeey! Thought you wouldn't make it, old boy!" Minato reached over and gave Itachi a hearty pat on his shoulder. "Come on in! Sasuke just showed up so make yourself at home!"

"..........."

Urges to run the hell out of there rose to a fevered pitch. Instead, Sasuke took the store bag of discs, sunk deeper into the sofa cushions, and quietly perused its contents in his lap.

"Ducky! Hey! Aren't you going to say hi to-- ah. What was your name again, there?" Minato was horrible with names. Horrible.

"Itachi," he muttered, pulling out the Mary Poppins DVD and browsed its cover in high interest.

"Oi. Aren't you going to say hi to Itachi then?" Minato folded his arms.

"No. He knows who I am."

This is the anniversary edition. Sasuke started tearing away at the disc's plastic wrapping.

"Ducky" He stressed that one word with authority towards the teen. Whatever was going on with these two, it will be put on the backburner tonight. Sasuke went on and on to him about how much he wants to be with his brother. Now that Itachi is here, he acts like this! He couldn't understand it, and filled with dread. Either Itachi would leave, or -- worst case scenario to Minato -- Sasuke would. And he didn't want the youngster to leave, after all the effort he made to make this night happen!

"-- Why don't you have a seat next to Sasuke, and I'll be back to grab some glasses from the kitchen?" With that, Minato pointed Itachi to the living room area, and dissapeared into the depths of the kitchen.

Obviously Sasuke didn't want him there.

Then again his younger brother had never shown any form of enthusasim when it came to him (well he actually did, but that was when Sasuke was 8). He decided to make his way towards the couch towards the sulky looking younger Uchiha and sat right beside him.

"How did you get entangled with Minato, ducky"

"I commented to him in his journal. Somehow, we met up for drinks. Got stuck with him ever since." Pushing the plastic wrapping back into the bag, Sasuke popped open the CD case and pulled out the leaflet to read. He never saw this movie, and was indeed very curious.

"And that's Minato's nickname to me. Not yours to call me at your amusement."

"I thought it as a term of affection, Sasuke-hime,"

Itachi couldn't help but let out a small smile at Sasuke's helplessness in the stiuation. Minato was indeed, too over affectionate at times. But perhaps exactly what Sasuke needed.

He peeked over at the leaflet Sasuke was reading and ended up getting as curious as Sasuke himself. Apparently he had never watched that movie before either.

"'Spoiled and bored upper crust Edwardian English family has their world turned upside down by an all nonsensical nanny who teaches them how to enjoy life. This movie is a musical and has both comedy and pathos and lots of imaginative scenes that are wonderful for adults and children alike. You'll be singing along in no time...'" he repeated, holding the leaflet closer at the included screencaps. The one where a woman dancing with animated characters made Sasuke frown deeply.

"Seems silly. But that's what a kids film is supposed to be, I guess," he said really to himself.

"It does look silly," Itachi said, as though to himself as well, "Minato seems to be trying to bring everyone back to childhood,"

Childhood? What childhood?

A voice rang in his mind, but he would not bother about it for now.

"He seems pretty kind to you," he chose to comment on that instead.

"Yeah. He is," he added nonchalantly. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met, as a matter of fact. In a very small part of Sasuke's psyche, it was a little bit willing to allow Minato in. Yes, Namikaze displayed classic signs of being a crazed stalker. But his actions were albeit obsessive and compulsive, they were a shock to his very system. He can see himself opening up to the man. Just like he did over the weekend when they both discussed "silly things they always wanted to do."

Sadly, Sasuke's list contrived of things Minato did daily. Like garden with a plush duck hat, and paintball cows from the highway.

That was a first,

Itachi didn't seem to remember many people whom Sasuke actually said he enjoyed being with. Despite the nonchalance in his voice, Itachi knew that Sasuke actually was beginning to warm up to the new foster father. Well, Itachi had some qualms about the supposed paperwork that Minato had done (Sasuke wasn't even an American citizen, it didn't make sense that the legislation should go through here, but as long as everyone was happy it was alright, right?)

It was then Itachi remembered something.

He fished out a letter from his own pocket and handed it over to his little brother.

"I think it's from one of your ex-es"

OOC: Post studying craziness.

"My... exes?"

He took the envelope from Itachi with unusual caution.

An envelope drenched and stinking of a familiar perfume. Sasuke glanced confused over at his brother, seeking some sort of added "catch" to this. When no other gesture was made, he tore open the letter and pulled out its contents.

A lacy-designed pink paper and one of Sasuke's favourite Japanese-brand condoms.

"... When did she give this to you," he said automatically.
