Indie Books

Because I'm cheap, I've been reading a lot of these Indie books on the Kindle. Some are horrible but on the rare occasion I'll find something good. The book I just finished was a 0.99 cent find. It was really good and now the characters are stuck in my head. I've been leading toward this genera more and more...the young adult urban fantasy. I ( Read more... )

Boo! I'm cheap on my Kindle too, but I used to never pay for books, so even paying 99 cents is more than I used to do! I also like a lot of the classics, so I went to Project Gutenberg and got a bunch of stuff there, too.

I hate when stuff like that happen... and I really think that's why Kindle offers the first book in the series for super cheap, haha.

I read an article about how that book was really good. I guess the author published it herself and has already made a million bucks on Amazon with it. Nice. =)

I've been reading so many of the Indies I wonder how hard it would be to get published on the kindle....not that I really should look into this as my life is way to full as it is! But that's awesome for her.
