"Wow, you smell nice!" Frank said.
Leslie blushed. "Thanks. New shampoo."
He grabbed her shoulders and pulled her to him, burying his face in her hair. He took several deep breaths before she shoved him off.
"Easy!"
"Sorry."
She grinned. "Does it really smell that good?"
He nodded. "Like, like… You know how cinnamon tastes? You smell like that."
"Ah, good," she teased. "I suppose that’s why the bottle said ‘Cinnamon’ and not ‘Cat Spit.’"
He grinned. It was rare to see her in such a light mood these days. He pulled her to him again and planted a quick kiss on her forehead before she could protest.
She snorted. "I have an audition today," she said. "I’ll see you later."
"Mm-kay."
She let him kiss her again-this time properly-and ran out the door.
