Gene kissed her. Pressed her hand. Slid an arm around her waist. She shuddered and slid her hands up his chest.
"I love you," he mumbled.
"Mm."
"Enchantress."
"Take me."
He smiled a little at that. She smiled up at him. Her eyes were a little glazed. Then, infrared.

He carried her to the bed and laid her down as gently as if she would break at any second. Gene watched his wife for a moment, making no secret of his imaginings. She turned a delicate shade of red and started on her buttons.

Alice stared up at him, tender and vulnerable. She shivered.
It’s cold by myself.
He smiled again. Reached down and cupped her face with one hand.
