It wasn’t so bad, she thought, if Gene was doing it, too.
He was off in Sacramento again with his girlfriend. He didn’t even try to hide it anymore when he went. She’d cried at first, but it hadn’t fazed him. So, instead, she went elsewhere to do her crying.
Frank was as lonely as she was. Leslie ignored him and spent her time away from home. Yelled at him when she was in the house.
They’d found each other too hard to pass up.
It had started with an invitation to talk. A cup of coffee. A glass of wine. And another and more, until the bottle was empty and they were both a little off balance.
She’d started it. Stood up to get something and misplaced her feet and tumbled into him. Frank set her on her feet and she blushed.
And kissed him.
Things went downhill quickly and ended with clothes strewn about and naked bodies on the bed.
He drove into her, finding himself thinking that sex with a human was odd, but didn’t bother to resist her little moans and movements.
She threw her legs around him and rocked with him.
He glowed a little and felt his orgasm rising. It wouldn’t be long now…
Her body convulsed.
He groaned.
Light filled the room and he came, hard, into her. Held her down. Held his breath.
She groaned. Shifted. He pulled himself out of her and knelt between her legs.
