Two ricocheted off of various pieces of furniture.
One buried itself in a chest.
The police found the body of a masked man in the apartment the next day. Billy Kaplan was pronounced dead at the scene; cause of death: one bullet.
Teddy Altman turned himself in a few hours after the funeral for the murder of a masked John Doe.
There was no trial. Only a sentence. Life in prison, if only because they didn’t think they could kill him.
Life ended at twenty-five.
