The movie was awful. About halfway through, Billy stopped trying to fight it and curled up with his head on Teddy’s lap.
Teddy stroked his hair with a big, green hand. "That can’t be comfortable," he said.
"’S okay."
"Sh!" Kate and Cassie hissed from the other end of the couch.
Teddy yawned and stretched. "Want to go upstairs?" he asked.
Billy smiled and sat up. "Let’s go."
"But we’ve just gotten to the good part!" Cassie cried. They were already out the door, though.
"It’s a two hour movie and it’s taken ninety minutes to develop a plot!" Eli groaned.
This only served to amuse Tommy and elicit glares from the girls.
