Billy giggled insanely.
"Um… Should I back away slowly, or ask what’s so funny?" Teddy asked, leaning against his bedroom door.
Billy gave him an odd look, and brandished the book he was reading at him, as though that answered every question Teddy could have come up with.
"And that tells me what, exactly?"
"It’s the Hobbit. You’re in it," Billy stated, as though it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"I highly doubt J.R.R. Tolkien knew there would be a Kree-Skrull-Whatever-the-hell, sometime in the future. And what are you talking about?" Teddy said with a roll of his eyes.
"No, stupid," Billy scolded. "The skin-changer. Bjorn. C’mon. You’ve never read The Hobbit?"
"I can’t say I have, no."
"How about LOTR?"
"What?"
Billy tossed another book at him. "You should really expand your horizons beyond comic books sometimes," he said.
Teddy flipped through the book. "So what does that have to do with me?"
"Duh, the skin-changer changes his skin. Which is another way of saying he changes shape. Which is what you do."
Billy giggled maniacally again and Teddy sighed.
"Whatever, Babe."
