Billy grabbed his hand and dragged him off nto the park, leaving their friends sittin on the grass, absorbed in some squabble. Their destination was, Teddy soon discovered, a gigantic, ancient oak tree.
"Ever climbed a tree?" Billy asked.
"Sure, why?"
Billy’s eyes sparked and he turned to scramble up the trunk to a particular limb. Teddy gave a long-suffering sigh and followed him.
"I see what this is," the blonde said. "It’s a ploy to make out in a shade tree.
Billy grinned, watching him settle at the base of the brance, then wriggled into his arms.
"What on Earth did you think it was?"
